Identifying depth
After finding the area, you’ll need to determine the depth of the space. Think of it as the distance between the ground and where you want the top layer of rock to be. Depending on the depth you choose, some digging to lower the ground level may be required. This will obviously vary from one project to another and depend on your preferences.
